Hours: Monday through Friday: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:30 pm (Alternating shifts)

Responsibilities 

As an Assistant Director, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to assist the School Director with the following responsibilities:
  • Owner Partnership & Vision Execution: Work directly with the school owner and Director to adopt, protect, and execute the long-term vision and operational processes specific to Celebree School of Leander at Crystal Falls.

    Accountability & Deadline Management: Demonstrate strong personal accountability by inherently understanding school priorities, staying exceptionally organized, and consistently meeting operational deadlines.

    Leadership & Team Guidance: Draw on your previous leadership experience to act as a strong pillar of support for the staff. You will help identify and attract top-tier talent, while supporting team growth through comprehensive training, daily guidance, and professional development.

    Community & Enrollment Growth: Actively build a warm, thriving school community that attracts new families and exceptional team members. You will drive success by helping the school achieve its enrollment goals through proactive family outreach and community engagement.

    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure total compliance with all federal and state laws, childcare regulations, and Celebree standards, policies, and procedures.

    Operational & Financial Support: Assist with the day-to-day management of childcare operations, including staff scheduling, documentation, financial tracking, and meticulous record-keeping to ensure smooth daily administrative function.

    Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver top-tier customer service experiences by conducting thorough, friendly school tours, maintaining a welcoming environment, and remaining highly accessible for parent meetings, phone calls, and daily connections.

    Strategic Initiatives: Enthusiastically support, lead, and implement new company initiatives, helping to guide the school culture through positive growth and evolution.

Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Proven Assistant Director Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in an official Assistant Director position. You must have a proven track record working in a large, profitable, licensed childcare center with a minimum capacity of 200 children.

  • Demonstrated Industry Leadership: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within the early childhood education industry, with verifiable experience managing staff, overseeing daily operations, and handling complex teacher scheduling.

  • Educational Credentials: Minimum of an Associate's Degree. Being Texas Director Qualified is strongly preferred.

  • Certifications & Training: Preschool Lead Teacher, Infant/Toddler, and School-Age certifications are strongly preferred. Active CPR/First Aid certification is required.

  • Curriculum & Behavioral Plus: Strong familiarity or hands-on experience with advanced teaching strategies and Conscious Discipline is a major plus.

  • Business Acumen: Previous experience with corporate childcare management, accounting, or business operations is highly desired.

  • Operational Flexibility & Mindset: Must be highly dynamic and flexible with your daily shift schedule to support the needs of the school. You must possess a strong drive to follow, protect, and execute the unique operational processes of the Celebree Crystal Falls system.

Compensation: $50.00 - $65.00 per year
