We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant / Teacher’s Aide who is caring, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.
Age Groups You May Work With
- Infants (6 weeks+)
- Toddlers
- Twos
- Preschool (ages 3–5)
What You’ll Do
- Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Assist with meals, diapering, bathroom breaks, and nap time
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development
- Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership
- Follow all Illinois DCFS licensing and health & safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for working with children
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong communication skills
- Childcare or classroom experience preferred, but not required
- Must meet Illinois DCFS requirements (background checks, medical clearance, etc.)
