Job Summary
As an intern/teacher, you'll be at the heart of the action, creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that sparks curiosity and ignites young minds. Your mission? Responsibilities

- Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
- Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
- Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
- Manages classroom ensuring compliance with all Child Care regulations, and company standards, policies and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents and visitor
- Maintain an attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
- Maintains regular and satisfactory attendance at all times.
- Performs face to name counts every 30 minutes and upon all transitions.

Education/Experience:
Ideal candidate will have an AA (or credit equivalent) degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or a similar discipline.

Compensation: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
