This is not a typical Assistant Director position.
As the Founding Assistant Director, you’ll partner closely with the Founding Director to launch a brand-new school helping shape the culture, team, family experience, and daily operations from day one.

What You’ll Do
What You’ll Do
- Support school launch from pre-opening through enrollment growth
- Help hire, coach, and retain a strong teaching team
- Build trust-filled relationships with families and staff
- Support tours, events, and community engagement
- Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing & safety standards
- Assist with daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and documentation
- Step into leadership when the Director is unavailable
Who We’re Looking For
- Associate’s Degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Texas Director Certificate preferred
- 10+ years early childhood experience
- 7+ years leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of Texas Licensing
- Calm, organized, people-centered leader
- CPR/First Aid & Food Handler certified (or ability to obtain)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Familiar with the Fulshear–Katy community
