Job Summary
As a Preschool Teacher at Celebree School™, you'll be at the heart of the action, creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that sparks curiosity and ignites young minds. Your mission? Responsibilities 
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to: 
  • Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
  • Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
  • Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
  • Manages classroom ensuring compliance with all Child Care regulations, and company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents and visitor
  • Maintain an attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
  •  Maintains regular and satisfactory attendance at all times, limits absences.
  • Performs face to name counts every 30 minutes and upon transitions.
Qualifications
  • Posses and provide a great work ethic 
  • Have superior reliability in attendance 
  • Maintain professional physical appearance, e.g. uniform
  • Must meet the requirements to be a assist/lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency. 
  • This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
  • The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.  
Education/Experience:
Ideal candidate will have an AA (or credit equivalent) degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or a similar discipline. Those with the TECE 1 and 2 certifications or valid CDA are encouraged to apply.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
