Position Title:              Instructional School Manager 
Reports to:                   School Director/ Assistant Director 
FLSA Status:                  Exempt
 
Position Summary:
Assists Directors in the oversight of talent, brand, and operations of an assigned School to ensure that the school’s mission, vision and values are upheld.  Actively develops and maintains positive customer/community relations.  Assists in maintaining enrollment and managing all resources effectively and within budget.

This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, patience, flexibility, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong initiative and problem-solving skills.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
 
Essential Functions:
TALENT
  • Assists Directors in helping to motivate School Team.
  • Assists in growth and development of teachers offering in classroom support through training and curriculum building.
  • Supports orientation and on-going training.
  • Networks within the community to recruit new families; follows up with potentials; committed to reaching enrollment goals.
  • Promotes teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to mission, vision, and values.
  • Documents effectively; consistent use of company tools/processes.
BRAND
  • Greets family members by name; presents a positive and professional image.
  • Ensures exceptional customer service experiences, e.g., thorough, friendly tours; welcoming environment; accessible for parents, phone calls, etc.; concerns addressed in a timely manner.
  • Assists in ensuring School is consistently clean, neat, and organized and meets visual execution standards; recommends repair work as needed.
  • Assists in supporting and leading new company initiatives; works with School Director to ensure adaptation of new programs, policies and procedures.
OPERATIONS
  • Ensures compliance with all federal & state laws, regulations, and Celebree standards and policies. 
  • Assists in planning and supervising School field trips and programs
  • Assists in creation of staff schedules; helps to maintain accurate and complete employee and child files; assists with classroom observations as needed.
  • Completes all required paperwork and recordkeeping on a timely basis.
  • Ensures School financials are up-to-date, accurate and organized.
  • Demonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the School. 
  • Seeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the childcare and education industry.
  • Assumes duties given by Director and Assistant Director.
 
Education/Experience:
  • Childcare Experience Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Director Qualified Desired 
  • Preschool Lead Teacher, Infant, Toddler and School Age certification/experience strongly preferred. 
  • Business and/or accounting experience as well as experience managing in childcare desired.
Specific Skills:
  • Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of OCC licensing requirements helpful.
Salary Range: 50,000-55,000 - Based on candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and alignment with the role's requirement.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
